Butterfly-Audiology-Dan-Bowles

Dan Bowles,

Manager/Hearing Aid Technician (Bendigo, Castlemaine & Gisborne)

Born in the Central Victoria town of Dingee, Dan has called Bendigo home since he was 20. Dan loves the variety his role brings from administration, team management, fixing hearing aids, meeting new people and helping clients cope with their hearing problems. Trained as an electrician, Dan’s skills at fixing pretty much anything and everything come in very handy in the clinic. When Dan is not driving the everyday operations of the clinic, he’s spending time with his family, mountain biking, running and reminiscing about his glory days on the football field.

Danielle Bowles,

Manager/Senior Audiologist (Bendigo)

Bachelor of Science (Physics)/
Bachelor of Arts (Politics), Master of Clinical Audiology

Danielle grew up on a farm just outside of Bendigo. She has always had an interest in hearing health and well-being and was delighted when her Undergraduate studies at University gave her entry into Audiology. After working as an Audiologist for some years at a large company, Danielle wanted to have the flexibility to care for her clients in a more individualised way. This led Danielle and her husband Dan to establish Butterfly Audiology in 2003.

Even after 20+ years of working as an Audiologist, Danielle still loves making an important difference to people’s lives by improving their hearing. In her down time, she loves playing tennis, running, catching up with friends and exploring and traveling with her family. Where she can, Danielle enjoys doing volunteer work in Audiology and Sport. She is a committee member of the Bendigo Tennis Association and in 2017, was given the opportunity to do some volunteer work in South Africa testing children’s hearing which she found to be an amazing experience.
